It is comprised of Nick Peters (he/him, guitar, lyrics), Callum Litchfield, (he/him, piano, ukulele, vocals), George Berry (he/him, drums), and Iain Gillespie (they/them, bass, lyrics, vocals). Mothé -from Los Angeles, CA -mothé is the artist name of spencer fort Thank You, I'm Sorry -from Portland, OR -Thank You, I'm Sorry make noisy, nervous songs about anxiety and self reflection, growing from the vulnerable songwriting of guitarist/vocalist Colleen Dow. After the project's debut album, "The Ma"lta House", arrived in 2020 as a completely solo acoustic set featuring just Dow's singing and guitar, they reworked many of the songs as buzzy full-band romps on the second LP "I'm Glad We're Friends". An even more complete sonic picture emerged on their reflective 2023 album "Growing in Strange Places." |
