Awahnichi and Talking Ghosts
-from Merced, CA
-Awahnichi (RC) is a proud Ahwahneechee (Yosemite Valley Native), and a member of the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation. A singer songwriter who grew up and still lives in Merced CA, a town located the center of the agricultural center of the world. Awahnichi achieves a rare victory for true storytellers with poetic tales of sorrow and beauty. The songs are patient, tender and simple. Capturing crowds with the profound meaning of the stories he shares.

RC began playing solo as "Radioactive Cauliflower" while simultaneously fronting his old band "El Olio Wolof." Around 2011 and RC began playing shows and recording songs under the moniker Awahnichi, a tie to his Yosemite Valley roots. Awahnichi would soon become a 3 piece band, and later release a record titled, "Five Hundred Seeds". Staying true to his roots, in 2024, Awahnichi is releasing his sophomore album titled “Our Hearts Still Beat”, an album written about his Tribe’s (Yosemite Valley / Southern Sierra Miwuk) stories, struggles and fight for federal recognition. Performing the new record with a 7 piece band.

RC has shared the stage with The Black Heart Procession, Y La Bamba, Shannon Shaw, Shana Cleveland, Tele Novella, Jason Lytle, Decemberists, Karate, Mount Eerie, French Cassettes, Nico Case, Calexico, Pinback, Islands, Dave Dondero, Willy Tea, Mirah, Xiu Xiu, Deerhoof, Cave Singers, Lord Huron, Frank Black, and many more.

Mariee Siou
-from Sierra City, CA
-Mariee Siou has been a fixture in the Neo-folk scene since her 2007 debut "Faces in the Rocks"—now acclaimed as a cult classic in the indie music world. She is revered for her delicate finger picking and poetic mysticism, often drawing, as from the ether, immense feeling through a voice of soft potency and otherworldly wordsmithing. She is known as a healing singer and as being a visionary artist, channeling and transmitting medicinal qualities through her music. Mariee Siou has extensively toured Europe and the US, and opened for acclaimed artists like Mazzy Star, Buffy St. Marie, Bert Jansch, Brightblack Morning Light, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, and Joanna Newsom. In 2021 she played Le Guess Who? In Utrecht, Netherlands, at the invitation of Phil Elverum of The Microphones/Mt. Eerie, and she continues to tour the US and Europe.
