Steve Estes collaborates on writing and vocals along with Kate Randolph whom sings and plays the synthetic piano. James Partridge keeps us honest, and on tempo. We play a fair mix of earnestly inaccessible melodies with the occasional dissonant guitar and new wave synth. We are a band that seamlessly blends the genres of post-americana, indie rock, and even ventures into the uncharted territory of "disco metal." Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Damien Jurado, Jeff Tweedy, Radiohead, Beck, and New Order, The Etiquette has created a distinctive sound that captivates audiences with its unique fusion of musical influences. About Jeff Linnell: Jeff Linnell, the driving force behind the band, is a gifted songwriter with a passion for storytelling through music. His lyrics delve deep into the human experience, touching on themes of introspection, love, and the complexities of modern life. Linnell’s introspective songwriting, combined with his dynamic musical compositions, makes for a captivating and emotionally resonant listening experience. The Post-Americana Sound: The music of The Etiquette can best be described as "post-americana," a genre that reimagines traditional American music by infusing it with modern sensibilities and sonic experimentation. This unique approach to music allows the band to craft songs that pay homage to classic Americana while pushing the boundaries of contemporary rock and indie music. However, they don't stop there – their genre-defying spirit led them to explore the world of "disco metal," a sound that is as exhilarating as it is unexpected. The Etiquette Members: Jeff Linnell (Guitar and Vocals): Jeff's songwriting prowess and fragile vocals are at the heart and of the band. He has an ability to craft meaningful lyrics and memorable melodies while avoiding the common tropes and trappings of. Steve Estes (Bass and Vocals): Steve is the creative force behind several of the bands compositions. His bass lines are the backbone of their unique sonic explorations and his vocal contributions add lush harmonies. He really fucking likes to sing Kate Randolph (Synthesizer and Backing Vocals): Kate's synthesizer work adds a lush and atmospheric layer to the band's sound. Her backing vocals provide a hauntingly beautiful contrast to Jeff's uncannily uncertain vocals. James Partridge (Drums): James is the rhythmic heartbeat of the band. His dynamic drumming keeps the energy high and the audience grooving, whether to the indie rock anthems or the disco-infused metal beats. Discography: The band has released several acclaimed singles that showcase their evolving sound and songwriting prowess. Their music will soon be available on major streaming platforms, and they continue to gain recognition and a dedicated fan base through their recorded work.
