The band is composed of Miss Kibbe on drums/vocals, Todd Springett on the bass/vocals and Rich Cutler on guitar/vocals. Their mission is to build community, spread kindness and rock really hard! Their sets are composed of original material and all three members of the band write the music and sing. Influences include: Iggy and the Stooges, Motorhead, Bad Religion, Jawbreaker, Husker Du, Thin Lizzy, New Bomb Turks, Pixies, The Jesus Lizard, L7, Viagra Boys, Billy Joel (and many other bands). Janky Band recently played in Edinburgh Scotland during the Fringe Festival and are planning to record an album soon. Sparkle Plenty -from San Francisco, CA -San Francisco rock band Sparkle Plenty has been "On the Run" since 2018 when guitarist Johan and bassist Doug recorded a demo of a song of the same name in Doug's kitchen. The two had met a year earlier playing together in a different San Francisco Bay Area band and they quickly discovered that their record collections are virtually identical and that both favor bud light over the more trendy beer offerings of the day. Based on these two things they knew that a band had to be formed. The only missing link was the right drummer. Fortunately Justin was referred by a mutual friend in late 2018 and the power trio was ready to rock! Sparkle Plenty's music is firmly rooted in ROCK with definite nods to and reverence for punk and garage rock influences. The band's first full length record entitled "On The Run" was released in late 2021 and followed up in 2023 by a second full length release called "I Was Here".
