I listen to every kind of music and i try to blend that into the songs i write. i was the kid that didn't feel safe to take up space. i hid in the background and kept my head low. this project helps me reclaim that brazen creativity and childlike fearlessness. i'm taking up space for the first time in my life, and i hope it emboldens you to do the same. Indigo Elephant -from the Bay Area, CA -While Indigo Elephant began as a one-off performance for a college talent show, it quickly turned into a long-lasting ensemble for thoughtful, genre-crossing indie tunes. The SF Bay Area band, comprised of Julius Pasion (drums), Cliff Yang (guitar, bass), and Brenden Phung (synth, guitar) has since grown into a dynamic act, defined by their emotional clarity and melodic instincts. Whether playing to intimate rooms or large festivals, Indigo Elephant blends the raw honesty of indie rock with the smooth textures of indie pop, from 2010's inspired dance rock to nostalgic 80's ballads.
