Greg Hoy & The Boys 'Big Band'
-from San Francisco, CA
-With over 150 shows across the US since the pandemic, Colorado via San Francisco via NYC plug-in-and-play indie rock heroes Greg Hoy & the Boys 'Big Band' are touring in support of their new vinyl LP ‘HIT MUSIC’ on 30 Peak Records '... and now, with horns!'.

The band will also be performing songs from his entire catalog including the new 'Hit Music', their EP 'Enjoy the View' recorded by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and mixed by Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty), and more. Hoy's history includes work with Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers), Glenn Branca (Symphony for 100 Guitars live at the World Trade Center), Geordie Grindle (Teen Idles, Dischord Records), Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion), Gene Paul, Jack Rabid, and more.

Greg's video for 'Can You Take It?' featuring hip hop legend Ice-T was nominated for a California Video Award (Most Humorous). You've probably heard Greg's music on HBO, MTV, and the CW, as well as all over lots of podcasts, indie films, and advertising things including American Express, Pinterest, and Adobe.

The press has always been kind. Hoy's debut LP was on the Village Voice's 'Best Of' list in 2003. The classic magazine Punk Planet said Hoy was a 'less ambitious Weezer or a more ambitious Pavement.' Stepkid says 'Live, Hoy is like Jack White AND Jack Black rolled into one... I was addicted the first time I heard it'. Jack at The Big Takeover says 'Drop the needle anywhere on his LPs and you're greeted with Hoy's crunchy, meaty, dirt discharging guitars & swaggering Mick Jagger/David Johansen-like growl. Hoy's boys kick out plenty of 70's punk, rnb, blues inspired jams.' Red Red Wine on a Sunday says 'Hoy's records are deep - like peeling layers off an onion - each song is a revelation!'

Fake Your Own Death
-from San Francisco, CA
-"Fake Your Own Death, the San Francisco post-punk and noise rock ensemble, took the stage at Noise Pop’s Bender’s Bar with the kind of veteran resolve that quietly mumbles, “Maybe you overlooked us, buddy.” In about a 30-minute set, they had the entire patronage jumping, kicking, pushing in on the rumble, reacting to the irresistible melodies, and hanging on to every no-wave reference." -48 Hills You don’t have to actually die to start over, but you might have to pretend to. Fake Your Own Death was born out of a studio apartment located above a bar in Berlin where Terry Ashkinos was studying the fall of the Soviet Union and eating pretzels. A handful of songs soon became a collaboration between Terry, drummer Scott Eberhardt, bass and synth player Adrian McCullough, and guitar and synth player Shane Ryan. Tight beats and sharp guitars compliment a bass heavy vibe that is post-punk at its finest. Alluring stories about misfits, escape and the collapse of meaning create a patchwork of uneasiness, an overabundance of ego, and romantic nostalgia on their new record Bad Gods.

The Undercurrent (SF)
-from San Francisco, CA
-The Undercurrent is the San Francisco-based indie duo of Wendy Chuah and Paul Zielinski. The two first met in 2015, and small talk quickly turned into meaningful songwriting. With Wendy as an expressive vocalist and lyricist, and Paul as an experienced producer and multi-instrumentalist, they have been able to play off each other’s artistic strengths and sensibilities to create a soulful, indie pop sound with a distinct California vibe.

As their name suggests, despite their often contrary musical tastes, an underlying force allows the duo to meet in the in-between — combining driving beats, layered guitar riffs, memorable melodies, and tying it all together with heartfelt lyrics.

The Undercurrent is joined live on stage by Chris Kelly on drums, Jack Sundquist on bass, and Dave Hilbert on guitar.
