2026 Koyal -from Atlanta, GA -Now LA-based, Koyal is made up of best friends Pooja Prabakaran (vocals), Noah Weinstein (guitar/producer) and Wallace (drums) who met in their Atlanta college basement and each earned engineering degrees. Fueled by their tight-knit friendship and shared love of Glass Animals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and GROUPLOVE, the three friends began writing songs and have since amassed a loyal following with their genre-defying sound, dazzling instrumentation, and relatable lyricism. The group's namesake is a koyal, a black southeast Asian songbird that Pooja heard everyday outside her window during the 3 years she lived in India. The group played at Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival last year, alongside Barenaked Ladies, Moon Taxi, +Live+, Sister Hazel, Lisa Loeb, and Crash Test Dummies. In 2023, Koyal sold out their hometown venue The Masquerade and set out on a headline East Coast tour. Most recently in the spring of 2025, Koyal released their sophomore album "breathe in. breathe out." Upon its release, the album received high praise from Pleaser Magazine, The LUNA Collective, The Knockturnal and more. The Honey POP wrote the LP is, "incredible.. dynamic.. the perfect mix of light indie and edgier rock." With their new album out in the world, the trio aims to solidify their place in the rising indie pop/rock sphere with their hearts on their sleeves. Windingwood -from the San Francisco, CA -Windingwood is a San Francisco based bossa-pop indie trio built on warmth, friendship, and feel. Comprised of three multi-instrumentalists and composers, the group blends calm bossa grooves, jazz harmony, and cozy melodies into intimate originals that feel uniquely "Windingwood". The band believes in interactive storytelling through music - led by Stella's singing, Kevin's drumming, and Keith's guitar playing. Together, they create a sound that's greater than the sum of its parts. Nixs -from the East Bay, CA -Nixs is an indie alt-pop artist from the East Bay, crafting gentle yet deeply emotional songs that linger long after they end. Drawing inspiration from Pinegrove, Wisp, Alex G, and beabadoobee, her sound blends softness with raw honesty. Nixs is currently working on her debut EP, set to release later 2026. |
