Ally Nicholas -from Chicago, IL -Born and raised in Chicago, alternative artist Ally Nicholas's journey has not been one without bumps in the road. Forced to grow up too soon, her adolescence was tainted by addiction and loss. Turning to music for comfort, songwriting quickly became the only way to make sense of the world happening around her. Characterized by a seasoned, innate darkness and drawing from genres like rock and metal, Ally soon found hope and direction in pursuing her artistry. After dropping out of college her freshman year, Ally couch-surfed around New York until she found a home at a Manhattan-based studio, Engine Room Audio. From there she worked toward her goal of becoming a recording artist. With only five singles out, Ally has amassed 6.5 million streams across platforms and received recognition by publications like Ones To Watch and Euphoria Mag. She and her band have played to sold out crowds at venues such as The Viper Room and the El Cid in Los Angeles, and The Well in Brooklyn.
