FORAGER
-from Brooklyn, Ny
-FORAGER is a Brooklyn-based trio whose music augments contemporary indie rock with intricate guitar work, melismatic vocals, and curious, shapeshifting grooves. NPR's Bobby Carter called their music "buttery" and "complex," remarking, "where have you been all my life?!?" FORAGER has built their following on the strength of their live show, selling out venues across the U.S., and opening for artists like Raveena, Salami Rose Joe Louis, and Red Baraat.

Their upcoming sophomore album, Even a Child Can Cover the Sun with a Finger, ventures into rawer territory-whispered vocals over blaring sirens and distorted drums, singable psych-pop choruses that disintegrate into mayhem. The album captures the peeled-back intimacy of folk-singer-songwriters with the pulsating synchronicity that only comes from a band.

Janaki
-from San Francisco, CA
-Janaki is an emerging R&B artist from New York, currently based in San Francisco, CA. With a background in Carnatic (South Indian Classical) music, she weaves her Western and South Asian influences together into a beautiful mosaic befitting the modern immigrant experience. She is often compared to a wide range of artists, including Alicia Keys, Raveena, Gayathri Krishnan, Shreea Kaul, and Lauryn Hill. Janaki’s music often tells deeply personal stories of introspection, growth, and self-actualization.

On stage, Janaki is a force of nature, instantly commanding your attention. When she sings, her soul-stirring tone draws you closer. Her intricate and acrobatic melodies leave you in awe. Her lyrics speak to you like a dear friend comforting you. Helping you heal, revive, and then thrive. She performs with a dead-set intensity and unbreakable joy. Janaki’s music and live performance is a bastion of love and connection as resistance against a callous digital world.

In May, Janaki released her latest single, “Into Gold” featuring Shubh Saran on guitar, and Tucker Bickell (Couch, Mercer Henderson) on production. The half progressive R&B, half Carnatic Zimmer-esque cinematic experience leaves veteran musicians and naive listeners alike in wonder. Janaki is currently working on her debut EP with producer Varun Jhunjhunwalla (Thesaurus Rex, Shevya). Janaki consistently packs premier NYC venues with her dedicated fanbase. Her vocal prowess has seen her singing backup for acclaimed NYC artists (FORAGER, simmerr). Her star is destined to shine bright.
