Half Rotten Goddess
-from the San Francisco, CA
-Half Rotten Goddess is at times dark, moody, brooding, and hypnotic. At others, catchy, energetic, noisy, and mosh-inducing. Songwriter and guitarist Micah Foley derives structural composition from classical composers Béla Bartók and Frederic Chopin. He takes textural and melodic inspiration from The Pixies, Hickey, Rudimentary Peni, and A Minor Forest. Drummer Max Pleaner drives the sound with a spastic, expressive-yet-crisp style influenced by Mars Volta, Hella, electropunk, and prog metal. Bassist Cris Portillo is an amalgamation of influences wrapped up in a punk rock tortilla, blending everything from classic rock to reggae. He finds inspiration from the steady rhythm of the Tennessee Two and intricate movements of Cliff Burton, always adapting to the flow of the currents. Vocalist Lauren Mae follows the eclectic genre-bending in suit. She moves fluidly between tender crooning, haunting drone, and furious, sassy anthems filled with gutsy innuendos. She’s been compared to both Gwen Stefani and Glenn Danzig, which is a real testament to her versatility. -musiccitysf

Persephone
-from the Bay Area, CA
-Persephone is a Bay Area punk-rock girl-band that’s anything but shy. The band came together in 2024, Piper Burns as lead vocalist, bassist Lucy Scholten, guitarist Liz Von martens, and Izzy Burns on drums to complete the lineup. Since then, Persephone has been lighting up San Francisco & Oakland venues with fan-favorite tracks like Astronaut Soft Spot and Pacific Pearl—songs that get crowds movin’ and groovin’. Now signed with Psyched! Records, the band is hard at work on their debut album, channeling their passion, grit, and freak-like energy into a record you won’t want to miss.

Rival Plague
-from the North Bay, CA
-Hard rock from California's North Bay, combining elements of Gilman's ska punk scene, riff-based classic rock and '90s alternative.
