The Sam Chase & the Untraditional
-from San Francisco, CA
-The Sam Chase & The Untraditional hails from San Francisco, California. This juggernaut of a band blends rock n roll with folk music while maintaining the sensibilities and attitudes that come from growing up on a healthy diet of punk rock.

The leader of the band is The Sam Chase himself, a natural storyteller with a voice that sounds as if it has weathered many an epic tale. With boot stomping orchestration and lyrics that have been immortalized on the tattooed skin of their fans, The Sam Chase & The Untraditional doesn’t mess around.

These are the warriors we need in these troubled times.

Ginger Molasses
-from Nevada City, CA
-Ginger Molasses is a five-piece rock band formed in 2023 in the Sierra Nevada Foothills town of Nevada City, California. Their unique blend of soul, funk, and rock, is a result of a strong chemistry and friendship born during the pandemic, when they bonded over homemade ginger molasses cookies and their shared love of Bob Seger.

Ginger Molasses’ songwriting celebrates overlooked American subcultures, and fans are transported to other worlds. Reminiscent of groups like Lake Street Dive, Grace Potter, and Greta Van Fleet, Ginger Molasses also draws inspiration from 60s and 70s rock-soul artists like Little Feat, Linda Ronstadt, and Joe Cocker. Their music gets audiences up and moving.

The driving force of the band is front-woman Tawnee Kendall, whose Nashville-tinged vocals and energetic stage presence makes for a memorable live show. Behind her is a roster of solid musicians: Lessley Anderson playing funky Wurlitzer and B3 keyboard sounds, Galen Krumel delivering melodic hooks on bass, Bodhi DuLac shredding on guitar, and Nick Overhauser driving the rhythm on drums.

They have lit up stages across Northern California at iconic venues such as Bottom of the Hill (SF), Boom Boom Room (SF), Miner’s Foundry (Nevada City), and Truckee’s Music in the Park. In 2024, they released their self-titled, six-song debut EP on all major streaming platforms, and in October of 2025, they released the single, River Rats, an anthem to the anarchic speedboat culture of the Sacramento Delta. Heidi Fleiss, a tribute to the LA madame, released January 15, 2026. They are now working on their first full-length album, slated to be released in the summer of 2026.
