Her sophomore album Observer Effect was released in 2025 through Spirit House Records. Taking an incisive look at the power that we have over ourselves and those around us, Observer Effect explores the inevitable ways in which we alter our own experience through reflection. Joined this evening by Ali Gummess (violin/vocals), Kyle Stringer (bass), Joe Shoemaker (keys), and Peter Craft (drums), eggcorn promises vulnerable lyricism underscored by dynamic arrangements with pop, folk, rock, and orchestral influences. Meredith Edgar -from San Francisco, CA -Meredith Edgar is trying to break your heart. Born and based in San Francisco, Edgar writes songs that wrap elements of modern Americana in smoky tendrils of 1930s jazz chanteuse darkness. Her voice is supple and expressive, rendering delicate details and subtle shifts of light as masterfully as bold swaths of color. Her lyrics make the personal poetic, and vice versa. Minor Birds -from Columbia, CA -A classically trained pianist and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Chelsea Wilde spins poetic tales, with a voice oscillating between a silky coo and a guttural howl. Paired with Casey Chisholm’s intricate and sometimes thunderous driving drumbeats, these musical gems take form as emotionally-receptive storytelling. Intrinsically poetic, their music is about the journey, rather than a set destination. |
