Warm Soda
Rob Good, Ian McBrayer, Metthew Melton, and Chase Oren.
-From Oakland, California.
-A power pop group from Oakland, CA, Warm Soda combines elements of pop, glam, garage rock, and teen angst bubblegum into a sound that gets crowds bouncing.

Recording out of their own "Fuzz City Studio" in Oakland, Warm Soda is comprised of songweriter and guitarist Metthew Melton, guitarist Rob Good, bassist Chase Oren and drummer Ian McBrayer. After forming in 2012 and quickly gaining fans with their catchy power-pop songs, Warm Soda embarked on a series of US, Canadian, and European tours with their debut album for Castle Face, "Someone For You."

After returning home from their latest tour this past summer, Warm Soda has paused their rigorous road schedule to dive into the recording of their second studio album, set to release in 2014. Following the release of this album, they'll be back on the road for a US tour to SXSW, followed by a second European tour.

"Combining elements of power pop, glam, and garage rock... Warm Soda crush out killer power-pop jams," says Rolling Stone, who recently named Warm Soda one of their "Bands to Watch from San Francisco."

The Herms
-From Berkeley, California
-No one sounds like The Herms. Paying homage to UK acts like The Fall and The Monochrome Set, The Herms make post-puny indie rock with a sound all their own. A staple of Thee Oh Sees frontman John Dwyer's label, Castle Face, The Herms have been playing for Bay Area audiences since the mid-2000's, amassing a sizable fanbase and a host of accolades from music publications around the Bay and beyond. Their music is varied and eclectic, with a distinct retro-UK style that feels both charming and fresh. As John Dwyer puts it, "They are sun, heartbreak, pop and fried-static all in one master package, evolving from song to song, and I think they're fantastic."

POW!
Byron Blum, Melissa Blue, and Aaron Diko.
-From San Francisco, California.
-POW! is a synthed-up garage trio that has been taking the SF music scene by storm. Heavy drums and sweeping synth back the staccato vocals, giving a hectic energy to the performance. Combining the best of both synth and garage rock, POW! is a true SF music experience.
