He has toured the world both as a solo artist, as well as travelling with funk legend George Clinton, and rock legend Eric Burdon. McFadden is a member of the new supergroup, TEN, alongside Thomas Pridgen of Mars Volta and Norwood Fisher of Fishbone. McFadden has toured extensively with the Eric McFadden Trio, and he is also a member of the all-star band Stockholm Syndrome, which features notable players such as members of Widespread Panic, Jack Mormons, Sheryl Crow, and Govt Mule. McFadden's performance has been described as powerful and awe-inspiring. His command of a variety of genres is accentuated with his meticulously crafted songs, spanning both familiar and eclectic styles of music. He is a true expert in his field, exerting total control over both guitar and mandolin. His high energy and exceptional talent shine through at every performance, as he plays his own smoky, dark brand of Americana and blues. His baritone voice is reminiscent of Tom Waits and Mark Sandman, while his music waltzes somewhere between Jimi Hendrix and Django Reinhardt.
