The band truly began to take shape when Danny Bengston joined on bass, Erik Jimenez on drums, and later Cory Hanson on lead guitar. They began beforming at CalArts and house parties in the Santa Clarita valley in 2008, soonv enturing to house shows and DIY spaces throughout the West Coast. Keegan's vocals recall the nasal tone of another ripping garage great, King Tuff, and the track is all muscle. With stellar guitar solos and driving percussion, together PANGEA is a perfect, solid example of great California rock. Mozes And The Firstborn Raven Aartsen, Corto Blommaert, Melle Dielsen, and Ernst-Jan van Doorn. -From Eindhoven, Antwerp, Netherlands. -Mozes And The Firsborn is a fresh take on pop, straight from the Netherlands. It's garage rock for your living room or next mod party. It's psychedelic 70's mixes of rock. As a child, leader singer Melle Dielesen spent countless hours in front of the television watching and rewinding the animated movie Prince of Egypt. It tells the ancient tale of Moses, in which God sends ten plagues to harass the tyrannical Pharaoh, who in turns commands all the firstborn in the land of Egypt dead. A rather macabre plot, which along with the rest of the movie made a deep impression on young Melle. The band is a tour de force, clutching tightly to the Ten Commandments of Catchy Pop Music, and setting out on a journey through the desert of our current music landscape.
