The Pleasure Routine
Kevin Sofsrud - Lead vocals, guitar, Eric Mcdonald - Rhythm Guitar,
Nate Tang - Lead Guitar, Vocals, Kirk Jacob - Bass,
Caleb Bonifay- Drums, Lauren Kopp - voice, Tambourine
-from Oakland, CA -

-Oakland sextet The Pleasure Routine is a throwback to decades past, when bands meticulously crafted vintage tones and timbres, capturing their moody and dreamy sonic landscapes on analog tape. Creating a musical language that is both contemporary and timeless, The Pleasure Routine transports its listeners to an alternate realm, where jangly guitars and atmospheric rhythms support the raw and emotional vocals of Kevin Sofsrud and Lauren Kopp. Much like The Velvet Underground, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds before them, The Pleasure Routine captures a sound that is conflicted between optimism, realism, doom and darkness, as evidenced on their upcoming 2016 debut LP Sugar Mountain.

The Tet Holiday
B. Farmer, A. Gibbons, A. Ledford
-from Oakland, CA

-The Tet Holiday is the musical brainchild of singer/songwriter Andrew Ledford, accompanied by Austin Gibbons (bass) and Brandon Farmer (drums). Combining the pop instincts of The Jesus and Mary Chain with the passion and energy of Japandroids and The Replacements, The Tet Holiday brings naked emotion to their pop-punk rock anthems.

The Tet Holiday’s first three EPs provided the sonic foundation for the band’s debut album, Statues, released in February 2016. Conceived in the aftermath of a breakup, Statues evolved into a deeper body of work focused on transformation and rebirth. Finding inspiration in artists from R.E.M. to New Order to My Bloody Valentine, Statues balances bittersweet introspection with melodic, anthemic, crushing rock ‘n roll.

Cash For Gold
George ~ drums, Stella ~ bass, Jordan ~ guitar/ crooner
-from San Francisco, CA

-Formed from the ashes of beloved Bay Area rock bands, this unlikely trio found an instant rapport with one another and began writing music they had long been inspired by, such as bands like The Zombies and The Shangri-Las, with beautiful harmonies and melodies melding together to a dark, hypnotic vibe comparable to Beach House or The Raveonettes. It is apparent from their dynamic set of haunting ballads and dark rocking pop songs that their location deep within the paunch of the SF Tenderloin plays an important role in creating the perfect environment for these songs to be crafted. You can hear that the dark underbelly and grit from these streets have seeped into their music, lovingly carrying the listener through an array of restless, catchy melodies. Meet your new favorite band from San Francisco.
